ENGLAND & the GOODWOOD REVIVAL
SPECIAL GUESTS – BRIAN REDMAN, ALAIN DeCADENET & DEREK BELL
The Goodwood Revival is the only major sporting event in the world to take place completely in period. Furthermore, Goodwood is the only classic circuit in the world to be entirely in its original form and the whole site has been maintained and dressed to be exactly how it was in the heyday of motor racing – perfect in every detail. It is the ‘ultimate’ experience – a magical step back in time to a different era, celebrating both motor racing and flying. You will enjoy the thrill of watching the world’s most exotic and valuable historic racing cars being driven absolutely on the limit. The event is an intoxicating mix of incredible machinery, extraordinary driving, fabulous fashion, and the glorious noise of the world’s most evocative cars and aircraft. Also we’ll get to enjoy the private cricket match at Lord March’s fabulous Estate, join the entrants for high tea in the Marque and watch as a lone Spitfire gives us an awesome air display.
As a suitable warm up to the event we spend three days at the London’s Gloucester Hotel. Accompanied by Alain DeCadenet we visit a number of Kensington Mews private garages which conceal some of the great classic and racing cars in the country. Also planned is an afternoon visit to the ‘Battle of Britain’ Air Museum. A special day out to the Cotswolds includes a visit to the Jaguar factory and the British Heritage Car Museum.
Ultimate Goodwood – it just keeps getting better!
Allowing you to enjoy this event in total your Goodwood Revival includes admission to the ‘Ultimate’ Salvadori Hospitality Suites. Not only do you get track side viewing but the privacy of our own marquee which includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with continuous service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Paddock access is also offered, an opportunity to see the cars up close and mix with both drivers and celebrities. Included in your welcome packet will be a souvenir program and ear set to tune into Radio Goodwood throughout the week-end.

ABOUT OUR CELEBRITY GUESTS:
The ‘Revival’ attracts a ‘who’s who’ in motor racing and it is always interesting to check out the celebrities. Our special passes to the paddock, the ultimate Salvadori Suite and the private cricket function at Goodwood House allows us great opportunity to meet many of these people. During the event we are joined by the likes of Alain DeCadenet, Brian Redman, Derek Bell and Richard Attwood among others.
PERIOD DRESS
Part of the fun of the ‘Revival’ week-end are the lengths that attendee’s go to ‘play the part’. Some of the outfits are truly remarkable and fun to look at. For overseas visitors this can be a bit more of a challenge with overloading existing or adding extra suitcases. However, you can quite simply be part of the scene without causing too much tribulation. First, period dress is only necessary to enter the paddock area. However, as this is so much part of the whole Goodwood ‘thing’ you really don’t want to exclude yourself. Ladies can quite simply wear dresses/skirts/blouses (hats are a big thing) even pant suits – denims, jeans and emblazoned t-shirts will not work. If you are up to the challenge Goodwood was part of the swinging sixties and micro-minis and hot pants will gain you entry and lots of attention! Gentlemen have it even easier as blazers, slacks and sweaters (cricket/tennis type) are very acceptable.
